Introduction
The float level gauge is an instrument used for measuring liquid levels. It uses a magnetic float as the measuring element and causes the internal resistance of the sensor to change linearly through magnetic coupling. This change is then converted into a standard current signal of 4~20mA by an intelligent converter, thereby enabling on-site display of the percentage of liquid level, current value and specific liquid level value. It is mainly composed of magnetic float balls, sensors and transmitters. When the liquid level changes, the magnetic float ball will float up and down accordingly, altering the resistance in the sensor through magnetic force. Then, the transmitter converts the resistance signal into a current signal for output.
Product principle
The float level gauge utilizes the buoyancy principle of the liquid on the magnetic float. The displacement of the magnetic float as the liquid level changes is converted into a 4-20mA analog signal output. It features stable and reliable operation without the need for adjustment. It can display, alarm and control the liquid level of the medium in open, closed containers or underground tanks in the instrument control room. The medium to be detected can be water, oil, acid, alkali, industrial wastewater and other conductive and non-conductive liquids, and it can overcome the influence of false liquid level caused by the foam of the liquid.
Features
1. The protection grades of the junction boxes are all above IP65.
2. The range and zero point can be adjusted by pressing the button locally.
3. Usable hand HART communication operator or microcomputer and the intelligent instrument for double communication and do not interrupt the output signal, suitable for explosion-proof or inconvenient disassembling instrument measurement of instrumentation, process parameters, equipment configuration, calibration and diagnostic information through the HART protocol to access or change;
4. In distributed control system using HART protocol a two-way communication with the host: block with EEPROM, not power due to loss of data;
5. 304/316 l stainless steel material is suitable for high temperature and high pressure environment;
6. Plastic PP, PVPF, PTFE material is suitable for the corrosive environment; Floating ball size can be customized, suitable for medium of different density;
7. Can overcome liquid foam, strong bubble environment also can accurately measure the liquid level.
